Why do we process your personal data?
Purpose: Establishing and executing donorship or gifts: We register your data when you contact us or contribute financially as a donor, volunteer, organization, interested party, or participant in campaigns or events. Relevant data, such as name, address, phone number, email address, date of birth, bank account number, transaction data, and participation data, are recorded. This processing is based on an agreement between the gift giver and us.
Purpose: Participation in events: When participating in future events, you must create an account on www.kidnie.nl. We process your email address, name and address details, salutation, phone number, and date of birth to process your registration, enable participation, and inform you prior to the event. The emergency number is used exclusively in case of emergencies. The legal basis is the execution of the participation agreement.
Purpose: Recruiting event sponsors: Kidnie processes data such as name, email address, and payment details to execute donations and send donation receipts. Through a participant's personal page, you can also donate anonymously. The legal basis is the execution of the agreement. When sponsoring a specific participant, your name and donation are shared with the participant. You can choose to sponsor anonymously or compose a personal message that will be placed on the participant's personal page. Consent is requested if you want your name and donation to be displayed on the personal page.
Purpose: Informing and newsletter: Kidnie keeps sponsors informed about future events via email, unless you have indicated you do not wish to receive these. The legal basis is Kidnie's legitimate marketing interest. If you want to receive more information from the Dutch Kidney Foundation, you can subscribe to their newsletter. The legal basis for this is consent.
Purpose: Securing and improving the website: Kidnie uses cookies and similar technologies to secure and improve the website. The legal basis for this is your consent, with the exception of functional cookies and cookies with minimal impact on your privacy. Please refer to the Cookie Statement for more information. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
