Introduction Kidnie research
Every child deserves the chance to grow up healthy and full of life. For children with kidney diseases, that chance is often limited. At Kidnie, we believe we can make a difference.
The Kidnie Research consortium is a national initiative supported by the Dutch Kidney Foundation, created in collaboration with all seven pediatric nephrology centers in the Netherlands.
Together, we unite doctors, researchers, and families with one shared goal: to make a cure a real possibility and to improve the quality of life for every child living with kidney diseases.
Through groundbreaking research, Kidnie focuses on four key "Moonshots": curing kidney damage early, improving treatments, ensuring successful transplants for life, and slowing disease progression. By combining knowledge, innovation, and compassion, we aim to transform the future of care for children with kidney disease.
With your support, we can move closer to a world where no child's life is limited by kidney disease — a world where a cure is within reach.
